Is it safe to use credit cards on your site ?

Local5 leverages Stripe technology. We do not have access to your credit card information.  Stripe is a leading provider of infrastructure for online payments.  Here is Stripe’s privacy policy.  https://stripe.com/privacy

How do I use my discount?

Simply present your Digital Card or the phone number you used to sign up.  The restaurant is aware of Local 5 and will provide the discount.

Can I use the discount at the same restaurant more than once a month ?

Yes. You can use the discount every time you go to a participating restaurant.  It is unlimited.

Can I use the discount for online and takeout orders ?

Yes, but you must call the restaurant or pay in the store to leverage the discount.

What if I think I read a higher discount on the site and the restaurant offers less?  

We will do everything we can to keep our site updated and accurate. Ultimately, the restaurant determines the discount.

Can I cancel? 

Although we do not provide refunds for the current month, you may cancel for the next month.  You can do this by simply pressing cancel in your account page. If you need help, please email emily@local5.co

Will my card automatically get charged $5 every month?  

Yes. When you sign up, you are agreeing to a $5 charge monthly.

Do you collect any personal information?

We only collect your name, email and phone number.  These elements are essential for member identification.?
